Best-selling children's illustrator Tony Ross is the creator of the Little Princess books and illustrator of the Horrid Henry series. His colourful artwork for Animal Agents depicts a bunch of furry, slippery and four-legged friends who are attempting to solve a library-based mystery. As children read books they will receive clues which will help them to solve the mystery and catch the crooks.

To take part in Animal Agents, all children need to do is to head to the library where they will be given a collector folder to keep a record of their reading journey. As children read at least six library books over the summer, they collect stickers which will help them crack the clues and help the Animal Agents find out what's really been going on behind the scenes!

The library will be holding all kinds of fun children's activity Animal Agents-themed workshops over the summer.

Registration is free and open now at the Henry Bloom Noble Library, Duke Street, Douglas.
