Special Visitors at this Week's Workshops

Children at this week’s Summer Reading Challenge workshops had two special visitors. Her Worship the Mayor of Douglas Councillor Carol Malarkey JP came to lend a hand to the morning session and Linda Mann told the story of the Buggane of St Trinian’s Church dressed as a witch at both morning and afternoon sessions.

The theme of this year’s SRC is Creepy House and as well as listening to the story the children made their own Buggane’s and masks.

The workshops are held every Wednesday at the Library and there are two time slots either 10.30am – 11.30am or 3pm – 4pm. Tickets are available from the library and cost £1. The tickets are only available to children who are both members of the library and registered for the SRC.
